Ajay Devgan himself wrote the story of the film. "u me aur hum."
My spouse and I went for the opening day opening show world premier - a day before released in India - at Babylon in Rosa Luxemburg Platz - Berlin
The hall was a kind of cubicle that seated seventy people. I had never watched a film before in such a mini hall. Extra chairs accommodated some more audiences, thus no one went back without tickets. Around hundred Berliner Bollywood fans turned up in Saal 2 many wearing badges “Bollywood Club” The young woman who sat next to me was excited that even the Indians had to wait for a day. She said with such innocence, I smiled back at her acknowledging.
The film started with white letter sentences floating in the sky, intellectually. The moment Kajol came on screen the reserved Europeans started clapping like children expressing solidarity with her. I knew they all loved her because while working as a helping hand in an import exhibition for a friend I had the experience of Kajol posters in demand.
Back to the film, the story highlights love. How love provides the only solution for difficult diseases like Alzheimer, that brings pain lonliness and sorrow.
Kajol was perfect justification to the role. Ajay Devgan too but he appeared a bit too self centred. As a doctor, Ajay only appeared busy and his other doctor friend was always waiting on him. In India, all docs are very busy realistically. Here Ajay could tone it better.
The revelry too was a bit of a bother with thighs kicking into our eyes. Not very pleasant visual entertainment for many, I guess.
The film needed a bit of polishing and editing as per my taste. Otherwise, the storyline is good!
Main actor is Ajay Devgan, his wife Kajol and it is a Ajay Devgan Production!
It is a pity to know that Kajol lost her father in real life because of a massive heart attack just before a day of the film release!
Those who enjoy stories, the film is worth a view to them...
